Promotion

Well, I know I have not written in FOREVER but I have been really busy. If I have not talked to you I got a promotion on Friday. Im so EXCITED. It was very unexpected and it was the coolest thing ever. Below is the e-mail. Yay!!

Jessica Patterson has been promoted to Deputy Director of Financial Operations in the Child Welfare Programs department. Jessica joined Unificare in 2005 and has been with the IV-E group for the past several years. Since this past July Jessica has been acting as the manager of the FinOps unit and has done a fantastic job with her position. Jessica is responsible for overseeing claims for Title IV-E, NSLP and SSI programs and her group annually completes Cost Allocation Plans for the majority of our Title IV-E clients. Jessica has been instrumental in working with TJPC in creating the new financial claiming forms that will be used statewide in Texas (and just for our knowledge here at JBI- Jessica developed those forms herself!) Jessica works long hours often taking work home with her and she is always thinking ahead about how we can maximize claims. Jessica has shown great leadership skills and her knowledge in the financial component of Title IV-E has made Jessica an invaluable addition to the IV-E management team.
