Earlier this week I had my pre dry wall meeting and the builder and I went through and looked at every room, all the phone plugs, electricity plugs and TV jacks. Also, while I was there the Energy Star inspector was there.
My house is an Energy Star home and that means it has to meet a higher standard. My house did not originally pass the inspection and they had to fix some things and then it was approved.
Since it is Energy Star that means that it will be more efficient which hopefully means that my electricity bill wont be too high.
We went and visited the house today and they started the brick!!!!
They also drywalled the whole house!! How crazy is that??? The whole house was drywalled in 2 days!! This next week they will bee taping and leveling the walls.
The house is moving along!!! They say it will be complete the end of October but I'm guessing that it will not be done till November. Thats ok though.
I am going to be out of town for the next couple of days but I will give everyone an update on Wednesday night or Thursday about my trip and the house.
