About me and my familia

This is my first blog so here it goes.....

My name is Jessica and I live in Coppell in a super cute apartment with my perfect dog. I got Lola from Operation Kindness and she has been a great addition to the Patterson family.

Who is the Patterson family you ask..Well it consists of my dad, mom, Jennifer, Jessica and Lola.

Above is my mom and dad at dinner in December. We went to some restaurant that has a well in the middle. My mom works at a company in Lewisville called Magic Touch. She is always busy and when I called to tell her about our blog site she was too busy to check it out unlike my sister who immediately got on it. My dad is the CFO at a HVAC company and my twin sister is a first grade teacher.

Jennifer teaches at Bledsoe Elementary in Frisco and she LOVES it!! This is her first year and she is there all the time. Jennifer dates this guy named Jacques he has his moments but for the most part he is a good guy. He buys me food sometimes so no complaints here. Jacques and I work at the same place but I never seem him. Why you ask? Well, he travels ALL the time. During the week he is in one of the fifty states and then on the weekends him and Jennifer are together. You would think that my sister would not like this but she does not mind at all. Him not being around gives her time to get all her stuff together for school. When she first started school you should of seen all the stuff that she had to cut out. Lola and I helped her put her classroom together and it is AWESOME. Her theme is

Patterson's Penguins. Is that not the cutest idea ever. She has Penguin stuff all over her classroom. Her class even took a group picture with some Penguin stuffed animals. I have not met her class yet but I am meeting them in March. I am going to go to the aquarium with Jennifer and her class. It should be INTERESTING!!!

I have a BS in Accounting from UNT. I worked really hard and was happy to graduate and get out in four years. I was so glad to get out of school and swore I would never go back...well... that has changed. I am currently applying to Graduate School at UTD. So far I have filled out my application, requested transcripts and set up my GMAT test. I am taking the GMAT on March 1st and have bee studying slowly but surely. More updates to come on the status of my application.

Last week I was sicker than a dog, my dog was sooo happy!! I spent alomost everyday last week at home with her on the couch. I had the flu and let me tell you it is NO FUN. I felt like I got hit by a truck for two days, but now I am feeling much better. Today I went back to work and I then watched Owen. Owen and I went the hot spot in Coppell...McDonalds. Owen loves the apples we had to get extra today. We played with Ninja turtles and then when we were getting ready to go this old guy had his son ask me if they could come over and play??? GROSS!!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS?? WHATEVER!!!! NO THANK YOU!! Let me tell you I go to McDonalds to find a date. Hopefully more news on dates to come.
